Town Playcafé Rules
We have set some guidance so that you enjoy your visit as much as we enjoy having you to play with us.

Children must be supervised at all times by their responsible adult, we cannot take responsibility for children at any time.

No shoes are to be worn by adults, children or babies whilst using our play equipment.

The staff do not monitor the behaviour of the children at all times it is the responsibility of the visiting adult. They must remain in the building with any children at all times.

If negative behaviour is noted a staff member may approach the child or guardian to inform them of the situation.

Socks must be worn at all times.

If you have any known allergies please report this to our team when entering the building or ordering food.

Any medical conditions that may be triggered by our sensory area should be noted when booking.

The Town Playcafé accepts no liability for any loss or damage to visitors’ belongings, we advise you to keep valuables with you at all times.

Patrons who use our car park understand we accept no responsibility to loss or damage of belongings within the grounds.

We have a large car park but this is on a first come first serve basis. We ask cars to park sensibly and may require you to move your vehicle if you are blocking access.

We advise children not to run around the building this may cause injury.

We advise glasses, jewellery and watches be removed before play as this may cause injury. Glasses with a shatterproof lenses are acceptable.

We have 2 hour play sessions. On quieter days we may allow patrons to stay after this set interval.

Food and drink is not to be taken away from the tables and no food or drink is to be consumed in the play areas.

Please be careful when carrying hot drinks through the building. This is to be done at your own risk.

Only food or drink purchased in the building is permitted. We do allow water bottles for children.

If medical food or equipment is needed to be brought please advise us prior to your visit so we are able to risk assess.

If you arrive early we may still be setting up the play areas.

We kindly ask that any children who are, or have been unwell, refrain from visiting The Town Playcafé for 48 hours.

Please report accidents to a member of staff so we can provide the necessary assistance and avoid any more accidents occurring.

Please report damage to staff.

Any items mouthed during play - please place in the box provided so they are able to be cleaned between sessions.

The Town Playcafé reserves the right to refuse admission or ask customers to leave at any time. Abusive language or behaviour towards staff or other customers will not be tolerated and you will be asked to leave immediately with no refund.

When taking pictures of your own children we please ask that you try to only take pictures of your own children due to privacy concerns. The Town PlayCafe cannot be held responsible for any images shared by other customers.

Party bookings require a £100 non-refundable deposit

No smoking of any kind is permitted within our grounds

The Town Playcafé will never share images without obtaining written consent prior to sharing.

The children who get the most benefit out of The Town Playcafé are aged 6 and under. However, please note some of the toys and outfits are designed for children aged 3 and over, please closely supervise those under this age for this reason.

10 minutes before the end of your session we will ring the tidy up bell. We encourage children to assist with the tidying up process if they are able.

We have a strictly under 0 to 6 years age policy however we will allow children over this age to attend with younger siblings/friends but may be asked to stop playing if they cause disruption.

If you arrive late for your session you are most welcome to join in the remainder of your session time, however, there will be no refunds given.

The trampoline is for 2 children maximum at a time. This is up to the guardians of the children to monitor. Accidents resulting from breaking these rules is not the responsibility of the Town Café.
